Callingwood Farmers’ Market
We began attending this busy market in its early days in 1986. We have always attended the Sunday market and in 2013 began attending the Wednesday market also. Many of our customers have become our friends, and have watched as our family and farm have grown into what we are today. The market is located in the breezeway of the Marketplace at Callingwood, on 178 St and 69 Ave in Edmonton. The Sunday market is packed with a variety of vendors, with the Wednesday market being a little smaller scale with some of the same vendors as Sundays.
Wednesdays -12 p.m. to 5 p.m. 2020 – TBD
Sundays – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 2020 – TBD
St. Albert Farmers’ Market
This bustling market is known as the Largest Outdoor Market in Western Canada. We began this market in 1986 also. The market runs along Perron Street as well as on St. Thomas Street. Our stall is located across from the east end of St. Albert Place. This market is attended by vendors with a wide variety of items. Be sure to wear comfy shoes, it’s a big market.
Saturdays – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 2020 – TBD
Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market
Way back in 1984, we attended the City Market which was held on Saturdays across from Canada Place. The original building has since been torn down and replaced. In the winter of 2012, we rejoined the City Market on 104 St.
As the market moved to the GWG Building in the fall of 2019, we did not continue to attend the Winter market. Now, due to decisions made by the Market’s Board of Directors and it’s current vendors, we are unable to attend the market as they are have voted to limit the category to its current produce vendors and are not welcoming back any of the outdoor produce vendors that are not currently selling indoors.
It is unfortunate but beyond our control.
